International Union of Socialist Youth 2006 World Festival Alicante, Spain July 18-23rd Every three years, the International Union of Socialist Youth hosts a major gathering of young people from all over the world. The event brings together over 7000 young activists and leaders from six continents and over 100 countries. Most of them are from IUSY member organizations, like the Young Democratic Socialists (YDS). IUSY is the world's largest political coalition of youth, made up of activists from socialist, labor and social democratic groups.
